Born in 1960, I grew up on a farm in rural Michigan. From '65 to '79, I was in the U.S. Boy Scouts, performing weekly stage shows of Native American dancing and acting with a troupe called Madron Indian Dancers, eventually becoming the group's president. My hobbies have included archery, horseback riding, motorcycles, slight-of-hand & stage magic, acting, & writing. My mother was a freelance writer and local historian. My father was a Professional Wrestler in the 1950s, & his brother was a U.S. Marine & 3rd Degree Black Belt in Judo. I learned self defense from them from the age of 5, and competed in wrestling in school for 6 years, including 3 years on Varsity. In Jr. High, & High School I focused on Industrial Arts (woodworking, cabinet making), Creative Arts (ceramics, pottery, drawing, painting & jewelry making), Performing Arts, (advanced acting, & public speaking). I performed in several school plays and variety shows, and became a member of the International Thespian Society. I graduated High School in St. Joseph, MI, in 1978.
In 1980, I joined the U.S. Army Reserves for 6 years, and graduated from Basic and the Field Artillery Survey School at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. In 1981, I was enrolled in the R.O.T.C. at Michigan State University, studying Military Science & Military Teaching. Also at that time, I was enrolled at Lansing Community College where I studied Business Administration, Psychology, Fencing, and Journalism with a 4.0 GPA. From 1981 to 86, I worked as a Police officer with the SJPD in St. Joseph, MI. I was later enrolled at Lake Michigan college where I studied Police Administration, Criminal Justice, Juvenile Delinquency, and Psychology, and was on the Dean's Honor Roll list with a 4:0 GPA, and became a member of Phi Theta Kappa. In 1886, I became a Professional Wrestler, performing two matches and a Battle Royale, and training directly with my father and Bobal Brazil.
As an actor, I have performed in several local stage plays, an online television show, "Spunky Airlines" (2012-2014), followed by work on a couple in independent films (including Johnathan Robert Hart's "F.U.B.A.R." 2014), and I was an extra in the feature films "Need for Speed (2014), and Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016).
My background experience and skills include horseback riding, archery, bowling, rowing, canoeing, magic, military skills (drills, weapons, field artillery, etc.), Law Enforcement, Professional Security and Executive Protection, collegiate wrestling, Freestyle Wrestling, Professional Wrestling, Judo (1st Degree), Aikido (2nd Degree), Karate (3rd Degree), and more than 45 years teaching Korean Taekwondo, currently a USCDKA and World Chung Do Kwan 8th Degree Black Belt, Grandmaster. I also had the honor of personally presenting Muhammad Ali with an honorary 4th Degree Black Belt from the Kukkiwon, World Taekwondo Headquarters (located in Seoul, South Korea) at an event near his home in Berrien Springs Michigan.
Unique traits: At age 63 (2003), I am physically fit and flexible (can do left & right splits), and kick head high. I am fast, powerful, can fight (tournament champion with real street experience), and I can break many boards and bricks at one time with hands and feet. Since 2020, I have been battling cancer (neck tumor eliminated - subsequent spots in lungs remain), and have an I.V. port in chest for weekly infusions of chemo treatments.
