Bob Pondillo is a multi-Award-Winning Filmmaker/Writer/Director —
In addition, he's a founder/former creative director of the American Comedy Network (a U.S. radio writing/production group/syndicator), creator/head writer/producer of the Emmy-winning Cleveland Comedy Company, and a Ph.D./Emeritus Professor of Screenwriting/Media and Culture, from the College of Media and Entertainment at Middle Tennessee State University, near Nashville.
His six, short narrative films (all searchable on YouTube) include; The Miracles on Honey Bee Hill (2012), The New, True, Charlie Wu (2010), and My Name is Wallace (2007) -- among three others. All have won accolades from film festivals around the nation and the world including “Best Screenplay,” “Best Director” and more than 30 “Best of Fest” honors.
As of this writing, his feature-length screenplay, BOOM!Town has earned 6 ”First Finalist” Awards from Coverfly -- the film industry's largest screenwriter talent-discovery platform -- as well as several finalist, and semi-finalist honors. BOOM!Town is a dark comedy/mob/crime story about a retired mob cleaner, who preserves pieces of dead gangsters in his basement, is and pulled into a turf war between Mafia families when a human foot lands on his roof after a car bombing.

The Confession (Elevated Adult Horror/Thriller) - A shy eight-year-old Catholic girl commits a petty crime to have a "sin" to confess to her Priest, thus putting into motion a horrifying chain of events resulting in the death of another child.
Happy New Year, Mr. Kates! (Holiday/Magical Realism/Dramedy) - A grumpy old man escapes from his nursing home on New Year's Eve, meets a mystical stranger, and is presented with a gripping bargain: the chance to trade his life for that of a lost infant's.
Radioland (Dramedy/Coming of Age) - A naive 12-year-old boy, falls in love with his own imagination, discovers the truth about his hero -- a 1960s Top 40 radio deejay -- and learns the true meaning of life.
