It's always a great feeling when you try something new, especially when it (sorta) works. I tried my hand at writing lyrics to this song, as well as the music. It was really fun to do! In this segment of a recent production I created for our local non-profit theatre, 'In The Loop' features Alexis Baksi (Hula Hoops) and the jazzy vocal stylings of Kari Lynn Hewett. In a fun 20's/electro-swing style.
While recently creating a virtual variety show for our local non-profit theatre, I realized just how much I missed the regular TV variety shows of my youth in the UK. This recent project saw me at the helm. I wrote and directed the show, also handling the editing and sound design. This particular excerpt features a Cirque du Soleil style act, performed by a local aerialist. My wife and creative partner Kari performs some equally amazing vocal acrobatics. She also wrote the lyrics. I learned so much from this project. Enjoy 'Just A Thread'. Thank you for watching!

In 1919. "Let The Rest Of The World" was written as a simple love song. Here is Kari Lynn Hewett's interpretation, produced and arranged by myself. The multi-layered vocals give a beautiful choral texture, providing a stark contrast to the video (which contains scenes some may find disturbing).
No. 4 in my series 'One video, four moods'. Aimed to direct the viewer in different emotional directions with the power of music.
My recent entry into a scoring competition run by The Cue Tube.
