About Melanie

Melanie Benna aka Mel loves and lives stunts and comedy with all its facets. For the past eight years she has devoted herself passionately to the stunt department as a stunt woman and creative sparring partner for direction and production. At international level, she has worked with film legends such as Wachowskis, Gore Verbinski and Elisabeth Banks.

For her dream of writing a book about the funniest set stories from stunt legends like Vic Armstrong, Greg Powell and Olivia Jackson, Melanie Benna traveled around the world for three years between her shoots. The book "Stunning Stunts" with 21 unusual short stories is expected to be published in 2021. Mel's sense of humor and sophisticated action inspired her to create a new film format that combines stunt and comedy. Since then she has dedicated herself to the stunts and work on her book, the direction and production of stunt comedy. The Berlin-born artist and her international team are currently developing a 7-part stunt comedy series with the female main character "Stunning Amy".
