Karen Merritt

I am an actor living and working in Pittsburgh, PA. I have over 25 years experience in acting, primarily on the stage (some companies include Pittsburgh Public Theater, Prime Stage, Pennsylvania Center Stage, Unseam'd Shakespeare Co., Saltworks, Promethea Theater). Voice over work includes educational video game, commercials, industrials, and I am currently narrating an audiobook. My on camera experience includes tv commercials, educational videos, an episode on a TV series, and some background work in film. I love the classics, and also stories that give hope, help and healing. Some interesting facts about me include that I worked as a standardized patient (if you want to know what that is, ask me!). I also am a slow marathon runner, having run on behalf of Urban Impact Foundation, a local charity for kids. Oh yeah, I also lived/studied in Russia for awhile, too, and speak some Russian. So that's me!
