About Musa

Was born in Afghanistan and moved to Iran where he graduated from Baghe Firdows College of Filmmaking in 1998 in Tehran. After the collapse of Taliban rule, he moved back to Afghanistan in 2002 and made short documentary and fiction films. ‘Home is Here’ and ‘The Faced Mirrors’ are two of his short documentary and fiction films in Kabul. He was exiled to Pakistan for six years and eventually transferred to Australia in 2013 as a refugee where he began to make short films for the Afghan community. He graduated with the Advanced Diploma of Media and Screen from AC Arts in 2016. His first book of poetry ‘Crossing the Leaves’ was published in Afghanistan in 2018. Currently undergraduate student of Screen Media at Victoria University.
