Big first step

Happy to share that I just took my first meeting with a production company that wants to turn one of my 60 minute pilots into a feature. Discussed the contract for a detailed feature synopsis (3 drafts) and the first right of refusal for the script and they are excited to work with me/looking to move on this. Definitely some welcome news!!

Krista I could picture an Indiana Jones or Ocean's Eleven type situation. Making it more of an obstacle to get the piece where she has to tackle paranormal activity and makes a plan on how to execute...

Best free screenwriting program for Windows 10?

Yes, I know I could easily do online searches, but I want the opinion of real writers.

I've used Final Draft 8 for absolutely years. I just bought a new computer and I can't find my serial code to activate the bugger anywhere, so should I update to 11 or are other programs as good?

I know a lot of peo...

I like Trelby. My only complaint is that the spellcheck is not as sophisticated as most others.

FadeIn Pro. Excellent and keeps getting better, there's an iOS companion app, and updates are included.

Quibi's Slow Start Is Due to Having No Popular Titles, Poor Marketing - Analysis
Though the pandemic has hurt the platform, analysts argued that Quibi has floundered due to a lack of exciting shows and poor marketing.
Mitch Ross

I think that in this world of DIY content creation, distributors need to remember that not all content needs to be high-concept or star-driven. There is lots of room in the marketplace for smart, smaller-scale content that Quibi would be perfect for.

Mitch Ross Except that Quibi is a big budget operation. They don't want smaller content.

Jay Han-San

I kinda like the 5-10 min format. It's not that easy. It's not a simple feature script slicing process. Anyways, if it's not Quibi, then somebody else will fill the opportunity. The market is there, i...
