Naser D. Shahrivar is a fulltime professional visual artist and has been since childhood. He is a very diverse artist and specializing in realism and abstraction. In his retirement years he has added the profession of published author and screenwriter to his achievements. Naser's most recent achievements was to have had 2 pieces selected in the 4th New York Nil Gallery International Annual Exhibit and was the recipient of the Best Painting Award with his entry "Conversion". His first attempt at writing a screenplay which was based on his novel "The Persian Lover" was selected as a semifinalist in the Los Angeles International Screenplay Competition and was additionally placed on The Red List on Coverfly Screenwriting Competition.
Naser's favorite movies list includes: Dr. Zhivago, The Fiddler On The Roof, The Sound Of Music, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, Lady Mc Beth, It's A Beautiful World, Melena, Three Amigos, Midnight In Paris, When Harry Met Sally and The Game Of Thrones Series.
Naser's least favorite movies list includes: Bridesmaids, Bridges Of Madison County, Pretty Woman, including many more which were great money making movies.
His ultimate goal is to see his novel "The Persian Lover" come to life on big screen." The Persian Lover" is a tale of Babak's never-ending adventure through life with the Iranian Revolution as it's backdrop.
Future endeavors are to complete his three additional novels "The Call Of Evil" Adventure/Romance, "Dr. Schmidt" a turn of the century romance, "Zaal" Old age Persian fantasy/adventure.
