Amanda Cloninger

Deeply devoted and hard working, I am driven and enthusiastic about my work. Excellent teamwork skills, client filing, databases, journalism, creative writing (has developed some to be published works) are just a few of the skills I possess. I took to the stage when I was five years old and it became an instant life-long passion. Soon after, that passion branched off into love for all things art and performing arts alike. Drawing, painting, and sewing became instant hobbies.
I was born in Reno, Nevada from German, Irish, and Dutch heritage. I have been a dedicated performer for twenty years. I began acting in local stage productions, musicals, short films, and music videos. At the age of six I started singing in school choirs and received a silver medal at the Fullerton College Chorale Competition in 2008. I performed in several high school theater productions and continued on to perform in college performances, such as Rent (2009), South Pacific (2009), Roger and Hammerstein’s Cinderella (2010), and Into the Woods (2011) at Truckee Meadows College, and performed at our local theaters for the community. I graduated with two degrees and a GPA of 3.8 while working full-time in 2014. In 2017, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Nevada, Reno in English - Creative Writing and Theater with a GPA of 3.9. During college, I performed in a local film production titled Be Careful What You Wish For (2010) and several student films. Some content is on YouTube, such as: "Break" (2017) written and directed by Vincent Moran, and hit YouTuber (This Guy Edits) on "Top 5 Most Common Problems with Student Films" (2018). Currently, I am studying under Mark Tillman and auditioning for television, short films, and Major Motion Pictures!
