About Amy

Passionate creative story creator. I have always loved tons of good television and film and constantly surprise people with my knowledge of shows, movies, actors, and the entertainment industry. Having older parents growing up , dad was actually in WWII, I was exposed to all of the classics and many entertainers my friends had no idea who they were. I love to write stories with strong characters and memorable story lines for television and film. I want to create television and film that people will remember in a good way and that companies will appreciate for their audience attraction. Stories with strong female and male characters Story lines touching on all our relevant topics of today with main characters that we can connect with and relate to. Due to my likes and dislikes I believe I write stories that would appeal to a large audience.

I enjoy a strong drama with creativity, uniqueness, twists and turns and a pinch of unexpected weirdness. Influences in television dramas such as ER, Scandal, The Blacklist, and old school SWAT, Vegas, Spenser For Hire, St. Elsewhere, Hill Street Blues, NYPD Blue. I like what I kind of refer to as smart comedies with some of my comedy influences in tv and films being Seinfeld, Night Court, A Fish Called Wanda, As Good As It Gets, It's Complicated, Robin Williams, Whoopi Goldberg, and George Carlin. In dramatic film there are so many great movies and actors and actresses. I admire and appreciate their work,. I love when someone surprises you like Robin Williams did taking on such dramatic roles really well. When an actor pulls off a role, many times even better, than the genre they began their career in.

I have a B.S in Communication with emphasis on writing (screenwriting for television ad film, creative, publication). I have strong organizational skills, extreme attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly read and communicate with people from all socio-economic situations, honest, trustworthy, and will give 100% to my projects.

I currently have two television series pilot screenplays completed both with completed series' bibles and pitch decks. The first a College coming of age / Drama with a very diverse and inclusive cast and the second a P.I. Series Crime Drama it is an original spin off story I created that connects to a PI Crime Drama that aired in the late 80s. I also have two other film screenplays I am working on. One a murder mystery and one a Rom Com. Also many other ideas.

I was recently contacted by a executive producer of a major production company who saw my logline and pitch deck. After a meeting he requested my script. After a month long review he reached back out and is very interested in working with me and said he believes the series has the legs to stand on its own and is a very sellable project with networks currently shopping. In talks at this time.

This year, 2022, I had a great experience as a background actor in the new Tom Hanks film "A Man Called Otto" which was filmed here in Pittsburgh aka the new Hollywood of the East Coast. From costume fitting to the day of the shoot every moment to me was so very memorable and I made the screen even if only for a few seconds so cool to see (one of the neighbors in the flash back scene of condo developers HOA meeting with young Otto and Sonya). I was also a core background actor as a deputy sheriff in Season 2 of American Rust which filmed here in Pittsburgh area Dec22 through May23.

Unique traits: Creative writer, detailed, empathetic, self starter, responsible, determined, motivational, and organized. When I read a line in a story I can envision the whole scene in my head. Tell me what you are looking for in a new television show or film and let me do the work. All I know is to always strive to do my best with determination, creative structure, intelligence, and an inner and outer strength cannot be beat. Give me that chance to prove this to you.
