Amanda Cole is a child of horror, after surviving parents from the 60's & 70's, she embarked on punk rock to get through the 80's, learned experimental film and worked on indies in the 90s, got drunk for the next decade and a half, then made web series in the 2000s, and is a proud member of the great unsold, the digital media faction at the Writers Guild of America East. She is in graduate school at Lesley University for more experimental film poetry, so she can teach useless film dreams to innocent young adults, and will no doubt be sued by her family over her thesis project. Amanda was a Nicholl Fellowship quarterfinalist for her thriller, The Primality of One in 2013. She has been working on The Baba, a horror screenplay based on Slavic "Baba Yaga" folklore for five years. She is deeply interested in female centric, matrilineal horror themes, and her next project is a mini series based on old English literature.
