Coral Untalan has been writing short stories and poems since she could grasp a pen and paper. Her interest in film making began in High School, when she attempted, and failed, to make a feature-length film with a group of delinquent friends. Nonetheless, Untalan went on to study film in college, graduating from the University of Hawaii at Manoa's Academy for Creative Media with a B.A. in Cinematic Film Production. She is an acclaimed Writer and Actress and her films have shown around the world.
