Gabriella Francesca

Energetic, experienced and formally trained actor and creator currently living in Barcelona. Passionate about creating and performing dynamic work for women and underrepresented artists. Experienced in LeCoq, clowning, Meisner, Stanislavsky, and Laban. Created, produced and starred in Our Place, a web series to debut in 2020.

I am originally from Boston, Ma where I wrote and produced my own work. Wednesday Double about sexual harassment in the restaurant industry and Burden of Proof, a verbatim piece about a murder in Boston involving a dear friend from high school and the school to prison pipeline. I also co-founded two theatre companies Can't Wait Productions and TC Squared Theatre Company. In 2012 I moved to London to get my BA in Acting and Contemporary at East 15 Acting school in London under the direction of Uri Roodner. At the end of my studies I co-founded a company called Black Throne Productions with my company partner Neo Mothola. In our debut we won the 2015 Stella Wilkie Award for the King's Head Theatre for our show SN1 Wilts. A one man show following Jay as he navigates being a Black immigrant from South Africa living in Swindon, England. We then went on to the Debut festival at New Diorama, The King's Head Theatre and then to The Bread and Roses Theatre in 2016.
In post production for Our Place. A US born woman and an English man living as flatmates for a year together. We wanted to highlight a platonic relationship between a man and a woman- she is more career focused and he is more interested in finding love.
