About Neil

Award-winning screenwriter. My debut short, Censure, was directed by Richard Bazley and features acting royalty, Tom Conti alongside the up-and-coming force of nature that is Connor William. This dark little tale was shot in three days and saw a mere eleven weeks between my delivery of the final draft of the script to our first 'Best Short Film' award. I am one of a number of proud parents who sent this story out into the world.

I am the script writer for the Jamie East headed podcast, Previously, on. This deep dive into TV gold is forever a joy and also the reason I began my journey into screenwriting.

I have two feature scripts in pre-production, Little Red, and George and the Dragon. With much of the Censure team along for the ride, we begin shooting Little Red in late '22.

Elsewhere, I have a number of shorts and feature ideas at varying stages of readiness, a poetry book hiding from view somewhere on Amazon, and a Masters in Writing for Script & Screen to keep me busy. Oh, and a loving wife, six children and a life on the wonderful Cornish coast. Mustn't forget the main crew! Pleased to meet you all.
