- 1989: 16 mm short film titled: “Reply” (the film was banned the next year and was never screened afterward)
- 1991: Short film titled: “The child and the sword” (the film was banned two years and was never screened afterward)
- 1991: Scriptwriter “The eastern souvenir” (in this year the Late Abbas Kiarostami liked the script and it was decided to make it with the collaboration of the Children Department of the Farabi Foundation and with Kiarostami acting as the Producer and I as the Director. Unfortunately, the Children Department of the Farabi Foundation was dissolved and the production was abandoned)
- 1995: Scriptwriting of “Women + Men’ in collaboration with Abbas Kiarostami
- 1996: Publication of the script “The dreamy dreams of a dream”. The script of “The eastern souvenir” and two others was published in this book. The famed critic Saeed Aghighi wrote about this book in the Film Monthly: “The world of experience in a completely novel and bold environment, which Nasser Pooyesh has achieved in these scripts.”
- 2000: Assistant Director and Planner of “The face”
- 2000-2001: Writer, Editor, and Director of the documentary film titled: “The colors of the mirror” for Channel Four (13 parts – 30 minutes each). To date, this documentary has been aired over 20 times from different channels. It has been the subject of many positive and negative criticisms in the time’s publications.
- 2002: Producer and Director of the documentaries titled: “the warm soil” and “Imagination makers”. The film “Warm soil” participated in the Cultural Heritage Film Festival and won the award for the Best Director. It was also entered in a number of international festivals including the Thessaloniki in Greece, the Barcelona Short Film Festival, etc.
- 2002 – 2007: Producer, scriptwriter, and Director of 150 documentary films on the pre-history and Medes monuments including the Prison of Solomon, the Takhte – Soleyman (the Throne of Solomon), the Nooshijan Citadel, the Katie Khor Cave, etc.
- 2004: Scriptwriter of “The view of my country has aged me” Based on the poem of “Mohammad Mokhtari” and the last hours of his life, which has not been produced to date.
- 2004 -2005: Research and scriptwriting of the Documentary Film “Shahr-e-Sukhteh” which is the result of one year research and writing, but which was unfortunately abandoned after the change in government and the election of Ahmadinejad
- Fall 2009: Scriptwriter of the feature film “Forty-four” (which has not been produced to date).
- 2010: Scriptwriting of the feature “The sparrows of Vali Asr Street” (which has not been produced to date).
- 2010 - 2011: Scriptwriting of the feature “The sparrows of Vali Asr Street” (which has not been produced to date).
- 2010 - 2011: Scriptwriting of the feature “The Ishraqi Sheikh” (which has not been produced to date).
- 2011 – 2013: Producer and Director of series titled “The sun of Orient” in collaboration with 32 top national and international researchers. The research and the writing of the script took about two years. This series is about the inventions and discoveries of Iranians at different eras of history. After the signing of the contract for production, the new Director of Channel Two rejected it on the ground of the special attention paid to the inventions before the Islamic era and the project was abandoned: All the scripts and research texts are available.
- 2014: Scriptwriter, Executive and Director of the feature film “Like lovelorn”. This film is ready for screening, but due to a number of sequences, it has not been able to date to obtain the screening permit.
- 2015: Scriptwriter of the feature film titled “An actress called Sahar” (based on the suspicious death of Mohsen Makhmalbaf’s ex-wife)
- 2014 – 2015: Production of at least six highly-viewed video clips for the popular traditional music composers. (The first three clips were the results of cooperation with Majid Derakhshani and the Mah Banoo Group, but the latter disbanded following pressures by the government. According to famous traditional music pundits and even the singers, these three clips raised the popularity of the traditional music once again in the society… The clips were and are aired over and over in all the television channels and networks, which led to some limitations for the producers as well.
- 2017 – 2019: The “Shahr-e-Sukhteh” feature film. After thirteen years of patience, this film was finally produced and prepared for screening through personal investment and in spite of the indifference of the management of the Cultural Heritage Organization.
- 2019: Production of 28 short films on the verse (s) of Rumi. New and modern experiences of the Rumi’s poems… ready for screening. In these years I have written 12 scripts in addition to the ones mentioned in my filmography, which, unfortunately, have not yet received the permit for production.
- About ten years of media functions as a writer, art critic, service editor, and chief editor of culture and art periodicals opposed to the government, most of which have been arrested. Furthermore, I have thirty years of activity in the field of art photography, with 2 solo exhibitions in Iran and a number of group exhibitions and expos in Iran and abroad.
