Daniel Ioan Barnuti

Was born in 1981, in Cluj-Napoca, Transylvania - Romania. He is a Law School graduate, having a Master in Documentary Film Directing at the Faculty of Theater and Television in Cluj-Napoca and previous working for major Romanian TV broadcasters.

In 2011 he started traveling and exploring other cultures, living in the Middle East for 7 years and working as a freelance photographer and filmmaker.

Nowadays, Daniel is working as a film director and producer for his own production house - Two Doc.

As a documentary filmmaker, his main theme of interest is the spiritual journey and he is

currently working on the feature-length documentary called “The Wedding Operation”, selected for Masterschool Documentary Campus program, 2018, supported by HBO Europe.
