About Michelle

I come from a Detroit Italian-American family of self-made, funny and creative self-starters. By day I run a public botanic garden, and by night I write. I write while I cook spaghetti, I write while my family screams at the TV when their favorite football team is seven point behind in the last two minutes of the game, I write grants, fundraising letters, press releases, speeches, essays, editorials - but what I choose to write are screenplays.

I've written a variety of genre; comedy, romantic comedy, thrillers, features, shorts and am currently working on a television pilot. Paradise, which just came in top 10 in Ink & Cinema's First Ten Pages competition..
