About Ilan

Ilan Saragosti has directed two feature documentaries, Match Made in Seven and Exiles in Lotus Land, both of which won multiple festival awards before airing on CBC (Canadian Broadcast Corporation) and the Documentary Channel, respectively. He also directed six episodes of Culture Shock, a bilingual series for CBC and Radio-Canada.

Ilan was Co-Producer of Missing in Action: The Last Flight of Bomber 31, a documentary for PBS's NOVA strand and Associate Producer or Story Editor for the likes of Discovery, National Geographic, Channel 4 (UK), TLC, and HGTV.

As a print journalist, he has contributed to the Globe and Mail, Toronto Star, Montreal Gazette, and Vancouver Courier.

Ilan has one daughter and no pets.
