A multi-cultural MENA immigrant from Uzbek SSR, Lidiya pioneers character driven narratives with globally inclusive themes focusing on women, children and the forgotten within underrepresented communities.

A Shondaland Mentorship Finalist and a Women In Media CAMERAderie fellow Lidiya’s directorial debut, Bombs Bursting in Air had a successful festival run and screened at two Oscar Qualifiers winning Best Film, Best Director and Best First Time Director and received worldwide distribution with Magic Johnson's Aspire TV and Genre TV. While her latest film - NOOR - was selected for a very prestigious Women in Media CAMERAderie Fellowship in partnership with CBS and NBCUni.

Lidiya is proud to say that her past work got a personal recognition and a seal of approval by the Head of Creative Production of Shondaland, Tom Verica, and the director of BBC's Peaky Blinders, Anthony Byrne.
