Jonathan Mackenzie Bruce

My name is Jonathan Bruce. I am a writer and occasional actor. For the past twenty years, I have worked in community and regional theatre in both onstage and backstage capacities. During my free time, I like writing both scripts and short stories. I have also done some freelance work for social media and local news publications.

Recently, I've been working on a few screenplays. One of them is a historical-based drama that is inspired by true events. Another is a psychological thriller that explores the dangers of totalitarian regimes. The third is an urban crime-drama. Finally, my last script is a character study set amidst the world of professional journalism and fake news.
