Kelly Clisham got her start as a professional writer at the age of four when her Gram paid a dollar for the Sears catalog she wrote and illustrated. The work dried up quite a bit after that, though she did pen some spectacular Star Wars fan fiction in middle school. Since Hollywood failed to call, Clisham took a writing hiatus until she began freelancing for a local arts and entertainment weekly. Her adventures in freelancing include covering a crane rodeo for a construction magazine and writing a script for an iPhone game about ogres. In her day job, Clisham works in higher ed marketing. She’s currently working on a rom-com, a novel about a talking dog, and revisions on a thriller titled Keep Her Close. She would still like Hollywood to give her a call.
