About Esmarelda
Esmarelda VillaLobos is a former Blockbuster cashier and Hollywood assistant based out of Southern California. Her debut feature film, "Verzus," was made during quarantine for an all-in budget of less than $350. She holds a BA in Radio/TV/Film and an MFA in Screenwriting from the David Lynch MFA in Screenwriting Program at Maharishi International University. Her feature screenplay, "Rascal" was a Quarterfinalist in the Stage32 Second Annual Female Driven Script Contest and also placed in the Quarterfinals of the 2018 Nicholls Fellowship. She is a stand-up comedian and voice artist with two self-published albums and several film/tv appearances. She lives in Los Angeles with her handsome husband and their rambunctious black cat, also named Rascal.
