Marina Edwards is a screenwriter, director, and actress who moved to Los Angeles 10 years ago with a dream to create her own film projects.
Marina graduated from the New York Film Academy where she studied screenwriting. From there, she developed her acting through programs at the Lee Strasberg Institute. After graduating from these two film schools, Marina continued studying acting in the Beverly Hills Playhouse and writing at UCLA.
Marina opened her production company Ocean Star LLC and received “Best of California Award 2019″.
She created and produced several theater productions for children in LA.
In 2022 Marina shot a short film “The Rain Has Passed,” which received 14 International awards at different festivals in China, India, England, France, the USA, Germany, and Bulgaria.
Recently, Marina created a Pilot for a Veteran's show "Stand Up & Go" to bring awareness about problems American veterans experience coming back to civilian life.
