About Neil

A bootlegger, baker, and candlestick maker, Neil Brimelow is a New Orleans writer and filmmaker living in a small Mississippi coastal town, that was ground zero for Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Camille. Neil has worked practically every job imaginable before deciding to become poor and take up screenwriting and filmmaking. Neil's film school was so poor that he actually had to shoot on film and was taught three-point lighting with only two lights and had to imagine the third light.

Over the years, Neil has made some fun documentaries and short films and helped sustain the last film-only 35mm theater to open in the USA. Neil's preferences in genres are science-fiction, fantasy, horror, and comedy. Neil has led a quasi-interesting life and had fun in California for a few years before deciding to move back to the United States after experiencing his first earthquake... Only to move back to the Gulf Coast to see it obliterated by Hurricane Katrina and then the BP oil spill.

But it's all good now that everything's rebuilt and oil-free, and, ironically, Neil's town now has 10GIG fiber internet that's faster than most cities in the country. Neil's met a lot of celebrities over the years and once even played D&D with George R.R. Martin before he was cool.
