Cottontails is the creation of celebrity stylist Renee Hall. Renee is best known for styling actress Kate Linder for The Hollywood Walk of Fame in April 2008, designing the infamous “Obama Dress” worn by Victoria Rowell for the 2009 Daytime Emmys and also for her work as a Costumer on MTV’s Hit Reality Show, America’s Best Dance Crew. Like a flower blossoming from her southern roots, and infusing her childhood worldly travels into her design aesthetic, Renee Hall has emerged into the Who’s Who among Young Hollywood Stylists.
Having worked as a Costumer and Wardrobe Stylist on hit network shows, MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew Seasons 1-4 as well as having provided her styling expertise to some of the biggest stars in Hollywood including Academy Award Winner Forest Whitaker, Academy Award Nominee Angela Bassett, Academy Award Nominee Viola Davis, Emmy Award Winner Kathy Griffith, Emmy Award Winner Loretta Devine, Golden Globe Winner Jason Bateman, Emmy Nominee Jeffrey Tambor and more, Renee has worked alongside many of the hottest talents in Hollywood.
Armed with the ferocity and drive to create the most exquisite and detailed designs, Renee Hall aspires to influence Film, Television, and Fashion with her unique take on creating characters. Renee noted, “Emotions flow through the characters and ignite the five senses. It’s my job as a costumer to bring those visual emotions to life through clothing by incorporating intricate factors from color to silhouette. Each actor must have their own natural adaptation into the costume they are wearing to convey the essence of that character seamlessly.”
Working under esteemed Costumers and Stylists, Renee has had the opportunity to excel her talents at an exponential rate. After writing to Celebrity Stylist, Leisel “Q” Quamie in regard to a College Internship at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Renee was awarded the opportunity to moved cross-country to fulfill her dream and destiny of becoming a Celebrity Stylist.
With much continued success, Renee has worked with Essence magazine in the top of 2010 with renowned Creative Director Mikki Taylor. As Renee Hall continues to advance in the Entertainment Industry as one of the Top Young Stylist, she strives to always remain true to herself through the business of fashion and honor the abstractness of design.
