When a mob wife’s husband flees the country after being wanted for murder, she uses her husband’s connections to open up drag queen nightclubs in the 1940s and 1950s era New York. But when her husband returns, he disapproves and shuts down her nightclubs. To strike back, she boldly exposes her husband’s criminal activities in an open court testimony that could endanger her husband’s reputation and even her own life.
