About Anthony

Anthony Van Dunk, born, bred and continues to live in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, New York. Since 2018 he has created unscripted TV shows, as a Community Producer at BRIC Arts Media. Within 3 years his creations have garnered almost 50 nominations for BRIC’s Be Free Awards. Identifying as a Lenape human, two of his productions “Morning Prayer” and “Amazing Grace at Standing Rock,” are currently in rotation on the FNX network, (First Nations Experience). “One Handsome Place” fits into the Poetry category of his short films portfolio and is being used to stop over development in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. 2021 already has a few of Anthony’s works on the film festival circuit and more stories are on their way. Coming out of production this year are “Anushiik Ngwiisus,” an indigenous father/son buddy short film along with the coming of age short film “Yes, Muppet Man.” Anthony looks toward being a script runner for more of the television series he creates. 2021 is starting to be a year of recognition with 6 finalist and two winners at the B Free Awards and selected works in 3 festivals so far.
