I started SprayChic Airbrush Tanning in 2008. It was a risky time to start my business, but by 2009 I quit my full time job in the financial industry to pursue custom airbrush tanning full time. It was when the health care bill was passed to add 10% tanning tax to those UV tanning beds that I realized that the airbrush tanning industry was going to explode.

As a natural redhead, tanning beds were never an option and spray tanning in a booth wasn't giving me the look I wanted. I wanted something natural, yet healthy appearing.

After 4 years of offering my services out of my then apartment I finally opened a storefront in downtown Farmington, Michigan in July 2012. We now have a staff of 6 and specialize in hand applied spray tanning only. We believe that by specializing in only custom airbrush tanning this sets us apart from other salons and spas to cater to our clients and provide the best service and the best results.

SprayChic Airbrush Tanning has grown to over 6000 clients since 2008 and we maintain a 5-star rating on Yelp! My goal is to expand to another location by 2016 and continue to create jobs for Michigan.
