I was 5 when I watched the Wizard of Oz. I knew from that moment forth that I was going to be in the entertainment industry in one way shape or form.
Little did I know, on my very first try as a screenwwriter, that I would win a prize for Best Uplifting Screenplay. "Searching for Sheida" won the Kairos Prize at the Movie Guide Awards in Los Angeles. (co- written with Anne Cattaruzza, adapted from her novel of the same name, which I also translated from French to English) .
I thrive in faith-based and uplifting genres.
I edited a second screenplay, Mia's Child, written by Anne Cattaruzza, which won Best Feature Screenplay at the Lonely Wolf 2022 International Film Festival London.
As well, The Kairos PrizeĀ®, sponsored by The Timothy Plan and MovieguideĀ® is pleased to announce the top 10 semi-finalists for the 2022-2023 competition, which includes Mia's Child.
Born in Montreal and now living in British Columbia, I have gone from working as an actress to a professsional singer/songwriter. These are endeavors I still greatly enjoy, but screenwriting and editing screenplays has become my newfound passion.
My co-writer and I are now writing a family friendly screenplay and are confidently anticipating moving forward with optioning our scripts with likeminded filmmakers who share the same vision.
Do what you love, love what you do.
Unique traits: Passionate, team player, visionary.
