My name is Imole Ladipo, I moved from Nigeria to Canada to continue my studies and had quite the culture shock changing from a tropical climate to the cold weather of Alberta Canada. I also had to overcome a lot of the cultural differences between both continents. This experience played a crucial role in developing my character and perseverance.
I had always been interested in modernizing the way her church operated so when my husband bought me a camera for christmas, i quickly jumped at the opportunity to develop and direct short videos for announcements. Little did I know that the announcements were just the beginning of finding my lifelong passion. I fell in love with the process of video production and created Lumiere Films. My vision is to use films as a means for spreading positivity based on the fundamentals of Christian values. Since the purchase of the camera, I have created multiple short films that have been viewed by hundreds of thousands of people online.
I currently works as an Engineer and use my technical background to plan and organize movie and character development.
I love ice cream but has been trying to abstain from it in the quest to lose weight which i'm not always successful in avoiding it but i am hopeful that this year will be better.
I enjoy going to cinemas, live shows with my husband, eating seafood and travelling. I recently had a set of twins and they have kept me (us) quite busy, but still somehow finds the time to make movies and smuggle the occasional ice cream from creamistry.
