A drug-addicted loner with a penchant for getting beat up in bars ("puttin' on the hurt"), tries to overcome his self-destruction with the help of his ex-girlfriend and her son.

SYNOPSIS:

Dale Brummer roams from town to town on a mission to destroy himself. He's a drug addict with a guilty conscience. He purposely seeks out bar room brawls so he can get beat up, to punish himself for a crime he committed in his past. One his last leg, he moves into the converted garage/shack in his ex-girlfriend's back yard. She and her son try to uncover the reason for his self-destruction. Ultimately, a drug dealer Dale has been running from catches up to him and all secrets are revealed.
