About Kaitlin

Kaitlin has been a SAG-AFTRA actor for seven years. Born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina, Kaitlin earned her bachelor’s degree in secondary education from Clemson University and has a soft spot for “edutainment.” She has worked with MTV and many indie film projects in Los Angeles, as well as created and edited YouTube videos for a decade. “Adultlings” is Kaitlin’s first film as a writer and director. She has since worked as director of photography and editor on other short films and is currently writing a feature film script based on a true story.

Kaitlin is also the 2022 program coordinator for the Collaboration Filmmakers Challenge. This is a two-week filmmaking challenge taking place in May. It's a great opportunity for indie filmmakers to create a short while building their networks, because collaboration is key! Each filmmaker must help out a fellow filmmaker on their project, while also receiving help from another collaborator on their own. This is our 10th year and past prizes have included screenwriting and editing softwares, gear, and even development deals!
