About Faisal
Faisal is a screenwriter, and most recently wrote on Endlings (CBC / Hulu) and Ransom (CBS / Global). His sci-fi action drama series “The Ageless” was selected to be developed through the first CFC/NETFLIX Accelerator program in 2020. He is also an alum of the TIFF Writers Studio 2019 program where he developed the horror thriller feature “The Voices Inside”. As a director, Faisal made the short “Useless Things” (2009) which won the Writers Guild of Canada English Script Prize at the Festival Nouveau Cinema Montreal, and the labour rights feature documentary My Cultural Divide (2006). His latest short drama “Beneath Us” about an undocumented mother trying to keep from being separated from her daughter by immigration, is in post production.
