Marie-France Landry works as a writer, screenwriter, executive story editor, consultant and series’ developer, when she’s not working on illustrations. She’s passionate about crafting great stories for different audiences. She writes for actors, animated characters, and puppets alike. Her specialities include animation, children’s television, drama and comedy.
For more than 25 years now, she’s worked on over 50 productions and international co-productions, many of which have won awards, both in French and in English. Some like Caillou (animation) and Un gars, une fille (sitcom), and Les Parent (sitcom) have travelled around the world and are still watched in faraway places. SnowSnaps at CarpeDiem Film & TV (Corus, Disney, Sky), and Bébéatrice at Mélomanie productions (SRC) are some of her latest projects. She is currently writing family feature animation films for 10e ave productions and CarpeDiem as well as doing some series' development.
