Sunee Foley

I am a former high school Theatre Arts teacher and director, working with an Improv Comedy team, competition and festival pieces, and directing more than 22 plays, besides teaching all levels of theatre. Prior to that I was the writer-in-residence, an actor, and Artistic Director of Teatro Dominguez, writing, directing and performing multicultural plays at elementary and middle schools as well as on the Cal State University Dominguez Hills campus. I am a playwright/writer and I will be taking my first screenwriting workshop/course beginning February 18. I began writing plays 22 years ago. My plays tend to be issue driven, whether the focus is addiction and sobriety or the struggles teenagers face both at home and in the world. I also write short stories and poetry.
