Alexandra Ramniceanu: Founder, Producer, Screenwriter

Born in 1976, Alexandra starts in 2002 as a reader for distributors. She then works with Steve SUISSA, an independent film producer, and participates in the production of 2 feature films ("Comme Si De Rien n'Était" by Pierre Olivier MORNAS, and "Le Grand Rôle" by Steve SUISSA) and a short film ("Meprise" Eric LE ROUX) for which she is director of productions. In 2004, she’s one of the first freelance executive producer and develops projects in France and abroad. In 2005, she founded her own production company built on the idea to focus her resources and attention on writing the screenplay and in 2006, she develops an adaptation of "Josephine and the Shadows" by Roland TOPOR and Reinhardt WAGNER. Jean Frédéric SAMIE (Les Nuits Fauves by Cyril Collard, Mémoire d’un jeune con de Patrick Aurignac…) joined the adventure and so were born "Les Films d'en Face". Trained at NYU and fluently bilingual, she writes in English and French and offers her writing services to producers in France and New York. In 2012, Alexandra collaborated on the writing of DHALINYARO by Lula Ali ISMAIL produced by Les Films d'en Face and SAMAWADA (Djibouti). The film is selected in many festivals (Montreal, New York, Washington, Yaoundé, Cologne ...) and won in 2019 the Best Film Award in the selection Regards sur la Relève at the Festival Vues d Africa in Montreal and in 2020 Amina Mohamed Ali won the Best East Africa Actress at Sotigui Awards.
