Lisa Knight surfed out of the womb with a funny story to tell, and her sense of humor still keeps her afloat. She is currently a freelance reader for Coverfly, and has been a reader for some of the top ten screenplay competitions. Her high-dive into the film-industry pool has created ripples of contacts and mentors, many at UCLA where she received her Feature Film Screenwriting Certificate and completed private screenwriting consultations with UCLA instructors. Her comedy feature Birdie paddled into the second round in the 2018 Austin Film Festival Screenplay Competition, and she has even dipped her toe into the producing pool and surfaced with award-winning short films. No doubt, Lisa has made quite a splash!
