Jennifer F Arthur

I’m an ugly duckling of writing. Meaning it wasn’t until my third year in college that I actually learned to write. I sometimes smile to myself at the thought that I am now making a career of it. It began with poetry, while a young college student (I now have over 100 unpublished poems), then I developed a penchant for writing research papers in undergrad and grad school. In 2008 I started a grant writing business for burgeoning nonprofits, and in 2018 I published my first novel. Today I am learning the new art and science of screenwriting. Currently, I’m entering my first screenplay, a dramatic series pilot, into all the big contests, adapting my novel for film, and am working on a sci-fi romance mini-series. I’m pumped to be embarking on this new journey, and grateful to have stumbled across this creative community!
