Originally from the east coast (CT/NY), Julia started her acting career after a successful appearance in a company talent show (she had been a corporate drone up until that point). Bitten by "the bug," she worked in theatres in and around New York, and, in 1990, Julia wrote, produced, and starred in a two-woman show called "3DTV," which met with much success (sold-out shows) and prompted her to "take it on the road," as it were, and she moved west to California.
While in LA, Julia concentrated on her film and television career, working on such shows as "Life," "Jericho," and "Strong Medicine," and in many independent films, including several short films she wrote and produced herself.
Julia' proudest accomplishment while in LA was an internet-based sitcom called "Cast This!" -- she was the producer, writer and star of this series, which can be viewed at www.castthis.net
In 2017, Julia packed her bags once again and moved to Georgia, "Hollywood of the Southeast." Since the move, Julia has booked several TV shows, including "The Resident," "The Act," and "The Outsider." Since the pandemic, however, she has kept herself busy teaching ASL classes online (). Once the industry bounces back (and she gets vaccinated!), she is hoping to jump back into Film and TV, and would love to focus on directing.
