25yr. police veteran. 6 yr. Special Investigator for the Department of Defense. Great work. Had purpose. But, not my dream. So, in 2013, I started my real journey. First, a couple of police thriller novels about a serial killer named, Jolly Jane, then an inspirational drama about townsfolk in little Iris Valley, GA.

Then, I really got the bug. I found my true calling; SCREENWRITING.

8 screenwriting books, multiple seminars, a screenwriting school, blogs, instructional videos, digestion of over 200 popular screenplays, an agent, several acting gigs (to understand the actor), pitches to executives and five of my own screenplays in the can with 9 others in progress. And as of March 2022, what did I have to show for it???

Diddly-squat. Nada. Nothing. Zilch. Wait. Not quite true. I accumulated a lot of debt. And one more thing... knowledge.

Today, it is 11/30/22, and I sit in front of the computer as an accomplished screenwriter, producer and director. We just finished production of my first movie, BAD SENATOR, a comedy about a narcissist Senator who risks losing it all if he can't change his maniacal ways. I can tell you, whether I make a dime or not, it was a magical experience. It is everything you can imagine; painstaking, serious financial risk (doubled our budget), arduous, rewarding, funny, heartwarming, tiring, energizing, and simply incredible.

To all, I give you the same question I was given in March 2022; in today's cinema, what is your excuse for not creating content???

Tomorrow, I start post-production. Can't wait. See you on the big screen.
