FIA PERERA is an award-winning filmmaker who has screened at over 60 film festivals and multiple Oscar-qualifying festivals. She has written over 15 plays off-Broadway in NYC to critical acclaim and has written and produced several TV series, including the award-winning TV pilots Do The Voice, Baby Steps, and BAD ALICE. Fia has also written several feature films and TV projects in various development stages. Her current LGBTQ+ feature length Documentary film “Paul & Trisha: The Art of Fluidity can be seen on Apple and Amazon and her current narrative feature MERMAID is in Postproduction

Unique traits: I am a great visual and narrative storyteller who understands the complexities of honing a script to be great as well as the PREP it takes to tell a meaningful story with the right collaborators.
