Born in 1951, Frances grew up in Birmingham, Michigan, the fourth of six children. In 1972 her interest in acting was ignited and as a result of her first audition she joined the National Touring Company of Charles Gordone’s Pulitzer Prize winning play No Place to be Somebody. The dream of becoming a film actress fueled her through four challenging years in New York City where she performed in numerous Off-Off Broadway plays before moving to L. A. There she would continue to do plays in local theater and would score a couple of small parts in films such as "Fraternity Vacation" and "Cherry 2000."
During the early eighties as a means to pay her bills, Frances became one of the only female limousine chauffeurs in Hollywood. She documented her stories in a manuscript with financial backing from film director Bob Rafelson (Five Easy Pieces etc.) Her manuscript was later developed into a screenplay for Hemdale Pictures (Karate Kid etc.) but never made it to the screen. All rights to her material were returned to her and after meeting with one too many "near successes" the disappointment was such that she abandoned the project for the next few decades.
In 2019, following a devastating financial/emotional collapse, Frances authored HOME, JAYNE! Star-bound Chauffer, Candle Queen, Ponzi Survivor.
In her memoir/novel (available at Amazon, Barnes and Noble), she not only shares some of her amazing limousine adventures from that period but also how she created and built a multi-million-dollar business on a unique idea she had for a candle (burying crystals and charms inside), and finally how she ended up at the heart of one of the largest and longest running Ponzi schemes in California's history. Currently Frances has revived her limousine memoirs and is developing that portion of her story as a television series.
It is time to bring "HOME, JAYNE!" to where she always has belonged - on the screen as a series.
