Born and raised in Australia, I began my professional career in Television Post Production as a transcriber (aka logger) in reality TV. I quickly moved on to become a Post Production Assistant and for the past couple of years have been working as an edit assist. However my passion is scripted drama, and unable to make any headway in my current career I decided to step away and focus on writing, during which time I successfully completed a Graduate Certificate in Writing and Literature from Deakin University. As a writer I'm particularly drawn to female driven stories and those dealing with mental health.
When I'm not writing I enjoy watching films and TV (obviously, or any performing arts really), reading, travelling (when able to do so), playing football and dismantling the patriarchy.
