About Julia
JULIA URBAN, SCREENWRITER, born 1981 in a small bavarian village. After climbed to a lot of trees, travelling around the world with friends and doing some volunteer work she made her diploma in social-pedagogics in Cologne and felt in love with producing her own experminentated shortfilms. As an pedagogic she showed kids and teens how to make her own movies. To be a professional author she absolved a second study at the „Filmacademy Baden-Wuerttemberg/Ludwigsburg“ specialized in writing for cinema, tv and interactive media. The last years she worked part-time as a socialpedagogic with familys and refugees, raised a family and continued writing scripts. Since 2020 she lives in Kerpen/Rhineland and works full-time as a freelance-screenwriter.
