After receiving a BA in Theater Arts from Rollins College in Winter Park, FL, Christopher Charles Murray’s professional career began in New York where he acted in more than 40 productions in theater, film, and television.
A role in the spy film Covert Action with David Janssen, moved Murray’s base to Athens, Greece. He then formed his own company, CCM Films, writing, producing and directing: St. Theodora, The Bells Toll for Thee, The Drama of a Nightingale and The Prodigal Son. He also produced and directed several TV spots and Documentaries for the Greek National Tourist Organization, capturing the immense beauty of Greece and its islands.
Murray has also written several screenplays: Song of Electra, A Beautiful Relationship, for Poseidon Productions, London, and CALLAS, the story of opera legend Maria Callas. He now resides in Westport, CT.
