Writer, director and producer graduated from Hollywood Film School in the city of Los Angeles, Ca. From a young age he began working as a production assistant (intern) on films such as The Terminal -Dir Steven Spielberg and on TV series such as 24 or Six Feet Under.
Upon arriving in Mexico City, he founded Chila - K - Tazo Producciones, a production company that has gained ground in advertising in Mexico; He has also been nominated and awarded for his short films “La Crónica” 2008 and “Picnic” 2012 at national and international festivals. He produced the Ariel awards to Mexican cinema in the years 2019 and 2020. He has currently released the film Los Pacientes Recurrentes, (The Recurrent Patients) in cinemas and platforms and has directed a t.v. series now in post-production for the Disney+ platform.
Mario is in post-production of a documentary called, "My Grandfather, The Death” and in development of his second feature film to be filmed in Los Angeles, Ca. and Baja California, Mexico.
