About Cara

Cara Rogers grew up on various military bases in the States and overseas, where she learned to appreciate the universal themes of being human. Isolated in a small room in old barracks, Cara secretly began to write and eventually became ready to take her voice public. She completed a bachelor’s degree in Radio-TV-Film while attending Oklahoma State University before spending the following years writing in various creative fields: public relations, print journalism, commercial production, and broadcast news. Eventually, Cara’s personal and professional goals led her to become a fulltime screenwriter. Whether a drama or comedy, Cara writes features with life lessons intended to leave the audience better than she found them. She often incorporates historical settings and true events to celebrate ordinary people overcoming extraordinary circumstances.
