Rebecca Casselman is a classically trained actress with emphasis in Meisner technique. Originally from North Pole, Alaska, Rebecca graduated with a Masters in theatre arts from the University of Central Missouri in 2010. As a military spouse she has traveled extensively, acting and directing in Missouri, Alaska, Arizona, California and Illinois. She appeared in season two of HBO’s “Big Little Lies”, the Netflix production “13 Reasons Why” and holds supporting roles in two award winning Independent films.
During pandemic season Rebecca further developed her sketch comedy series ‘The Queen Tries’ and focused on building her craft with training intensives- most notably with casting legend Jane Jenkins, NY Acting and Voice Studios and Emmy Award winner Matt Roberts, owner of D.P. Smith Actors’ Studio: Rebecca has “such a wonderful, natural quality that is entertaining to watch and work with”.
Rebecca founded the LLC Cassel Core Industries, worked on publishing her jr. fiction novel (release in 2021) in support of her daughters’ home learning experience and she launched the podcast, ‘Candy from Strangers’. She also wrote a feature film for summer 2021 production.
