About Sam

From a young age, Sam has had a special relationship with the different facets of themself, starting primarily when after that particularly harrowing staircase scene of Death Becomes Her, a piece of Sam manifested with a clipboard and a bowtie and a strong opinion about THE RULES. As in, rule: Heads, once put backwards cannot right themselves again.
Since then, Sam investigates the landscape of their own mind and that of their characters, exploring identity through adventurous magical realism. Sam’s stories exist in a realm of high imagination, queer joy, and the many truths of who we are and why we behave as we do.
Sam’s scripts have placed as Finalist in WeScreenplay Diverse Voices Lab, Big Apple Film Festival Competition, Semi- and Quarterfinalist in Stage 32 and ScreenCraft Sci-Fi & Fantasy, and ScreenCraft Comedy.
