Dixie has enjoyed a diverse background in the entertainment industry in front and behind the camera. As a performer, she’s worked in film, theatre, television, commercials, corporate video, national radio and 50 plus commercial print adds. In 2005 she returned from New York, where she performed and co-produced her critically acclaimed award- winning play, Bonnie Parker, Off-Broadway at The John Houseman Theatre Center.
Sedgwick has worked for numerous production houses as a casting director, writer, and assistant to the director.

Her producing credits include: “Bonnie and Clyde – End of The Line” This is a precursor for the feature film now in development, “Golden Bowl of Tawakoni Texas” and “Sparrow” post completed, festival "circus" begins.
